Parsley, one of the ingredients found in STEPHAN Relief and a member of the carrot family, can be used as a carminative and an aid to digestion. While the root has a mild diuretic property, parsley has also been reported, in large doses, to lower blood pressure.
A second important ingredient in STEPHAN Relief is psyllium. This gel-forming fiber is used in many bulk laxatives to promote bowel regularity. In recent years, because of its ability to lower cholesterol, psyllium has gained wide-spread popularity and can be found in some ready-to-eat cereals.
Directions: Take one to two capsules per day.
